Red beard brewing company

Red Beard Brewing Company is a logo and branding project that I did in college. The project started out as a beer packaging proposal with the logo being just one element of the overall project. But once I decided to design the icon as a combination of a beard and a hop, I knew I had to expand on the idea and work it out further. I created two variants for my fictional brewery; just think of one as Loki and the other as Sylvie. This is how it turned out.
